A Day for Enjoying

This morning I woke up and didn't feel the need to get on the computer and work (perhaps I should have?). Instead, I sat on the couch, bundled up in a blanket, and watched Project Runway. After that, I stayed bundled up, and sat down with my current read, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (love it, by the way!). The rest of the morning, Carson and I just hung out and played together. Just after lunch, Natalie called to see if I wanted to hang out. We decided to drive out to Gruene to walk around for a bit and have some coffee (well, actually chai lattes and chocolate cake). We sat in the warm coffee shop talking and laughing, and then we found the old game Battleship and decided that we must play. It was hilarious and silly and fun. :) It's nice to have a day like today now and again, where you set the agenda aside and just enjoy.
