Carson in the Trash, etc.

I've been in a packing frenzy for the past couple of days. Our landlord told us he needed us out on Monday so he could have time to put carpet in before the next tenants moved in. So the packing began. I've actually made quite a bit of progress (with added help from friends). Today, however, the tenants called and said, "Did we say we wanted to move in the 1st? Because we really meant the 16th."

Well, I guess this is a blessing because we won't have to move twice. I just wish they had told us that before I packed up the bulk of our house. Oh well.

Good news is that the closing date on our new house keeps getting moved up, so hopefully things will keep moving quickly on that end.

On a funny little sidenote, Carson and I spent the morning running errands, one of which was to find more boxes. I found a strip center and a dumpster that had lots of boxes in it that I couldn't reach. So.... I asked Carson if he'd like to hop in the (cardboard only) dumpster and hand me boxes. You can guess his answer! He was thrilled and thought it was probably the coolest thing ever. I really wish I had a camera with me because it would've been a great photo. I just didn't think I'd need a camera while I was out looking for boxes. Just goes to show you should always be prepared, huh?

Well, I'm in need of some serious down time where I do absolutely nothing, so I'm going to go do that. Have a great weekend!
