Mother's Day Dinner

Tonight we had Aaron's family over to celebrate Mother's Day. (Sidenote: This was really the first time we've had people over for dinner, which prompted us to finally unpack the rest of our boxes and tidy things up earlier in the day. It feels so nice walking into the garage and to NOT see boxes piled up everywhere!) We had a great night, talking and laughing and eating. I love being with family and I'm so thankful for great Moms! Looking forward to celebrating with my mom next weekend. Here are a few pics from our afternoon...

At the end of the night, we were all saying goodbye and we kept hearing Carson screaming in the back yard. This is nothing unusual, so we didn't think anything of it. Finally Aaron poked his head out the back door to see Carson hollering for help because he had gotten stuck on the swing. Poor baby. :)

  3. That was bar none, one of the happiest mother's day times I remember. I think it was in part because this mother was feeling such joy over the blessings that God has smiled down on your home. It felt so awesome being there, and so awesome to have a family like ours!!!
